Do you need guidance on using PRINCE2 for project management?
The essence of good IT project management lies not only in understanding all aspects of the project. At Fordway we use PRINCE2, a process-based, best-practice approach that has become the de facto standard for IT project management.
We have several fully trained PRINCE2 project managers, each of whom has the real-world experience to know what parts of the methodology are best suited to a particular project or environment. This ensures that project management is an effective and integral part of delivering a successful project, rather than an encumbrance and a costly overhead.
Fordway has found that although it is not absolutely necessary to have technical knowledge about the systems being delivered, it makes a significant impact to the success of the project if the project manager has these skills.
